About Gardner FRD

Gardner & Co and its sister company JA Glover have been successfully manufacturing and installing Flameshield Fire Rated Ductwork since 2007. Flameshield is fully tested & certified to BS 476- 24 and BS EN 1366-1 – 8 and 9 and was the first BS EN Fire Rated Ductwork to be listed in LPCB/BRE Red Book Live.

Due to the success Gardner & Co has had with Flameshield we are pleased to announce the formation of our dedicated Fire Rated Ductwork Company – Gardner FRD.

Gardner FRD Ductwork

Gardner FRD are proud to be certified manufacturers and installers of Flameshield Fireduct products. In order to ensure that your Flameshield Fireduct project is installed correctly and is fit for purpose, all our installations are delivered by a certified contractor working under the LPCB’s LPS 1531 installer scheme.

Our Ductwork is:

  • Tested to ensure it can handle temperatures up to 1100C.
  • LPCB Certified against BS 476 Part 24
  • Certified by LPCB against EN 1366 Parts 1 – 8 and 9
  • More eco friendly
  • Quicker to manufacture and install
  • Easily recyclable

What we do

Co-ordination
Gardner FRD are experienced lead co-ordinators using the latest CAD/Navis software and experience to ensure spatial fit, safe installation methodology and future plant maintenance.
BIM
We are at the forefront of BIM using the intelligent 3D model based process that can effectively allow an insight to plan, design and construct and manage delivery.
Procurement
Through technical submittal compliancy proposals and value engineering, Gardner FRD offer the highest quality plant and equipment using leading industry suppliers with whom strong relationships have been built.
Installation
Working for high profile clients and on prestigious projects we have successfully delivered and installed airside systems safely and to programme.
Project Management
Applying processes, methods, knowledge, planning, experience and skills to achieve the projects objectives. Our project managers oversee the delivery of full airside packages and smoke control systems.
Commissioning
As part of the airside package Gardner FRD offer commissioning of the installed systems taking the systems from concept to hand over inclusive of O&M collaboration.
